Don’t get me wrong, I loved Battlefield 3, but WTF was that preview?!
Jesus Christ, I might as well be dead
If I can’t see how dangerous it must feel to be
Training human cogs for the machine
Without some shell shocked lunatic like me
— The Hero’s Return, Part II, released on the B side of the single “Not Now John”.

Addicted on San Andreas lately, at the point of going from OG Loc to Wu Zi Mu in a single day (I want to finish the entire game before V comes out), and it’s kinda hard not no think about this…
Damnit, such laziness and stuff. I’m pretty sure my… Hum, 11 followers missed me.
Happy Christmas and prosperous 2013 for you all!
You know, I’ve been in this game for a lot of years and I got out alive - If you want my advice, give the shit up. —
Michael, Grand Theft Auto V.
Can’t wait for the game to come out, and by the looks of it, seems like Michael will be my favorite character.
Watched the Japanese classic animated movie AKIRA a few months ago. Epic, should have seen it WAY sooner, recommended to everyone.
But for y’all kids who don’t have patience to see it, here goes a slightly abridged version:

marceljj perguntou: So, broski, err, what other music do you like, other than Pink Floyd? I like, uh, Pink Floyd, The Doors, the Rolling Stones, Nirvana, the Pixies, (Any ska or dub band), Jimi Hendrix, and basically any 60's or 70's band. Not the eighties, though, not most of it, at least. Just google "cum on feel the noize" by Quiet Riot - that's why I don't really like the eighties.
Hold on a sec! I know and do like Cum on Feel the Noize! I mean, no, it has no comparison to classic rock musics, but I think it’s actually a pretty cool song. A bit trashy, yeah, but it obviously doesn’t have the same musical purpose as any of the bands you mentioned.
In case if you don’t get it, let me put it this way: The purpose of, for example, Pink Floyd, is to get you involved within the music. Wherever through the amazing sound or the fantastic lyrics, the songs take you on a journey. It’s my most usual choice when I’m writing, doing homeworks, travelling or when I just simply want to enjoy a stellar piece.
Quiet Riot songs, on the other hand, are composed with the purpose to make you have fun. You don’t listen Cum on to reflect upon how deep the lyrics are or to enjoy brilliantly composed pieces, you do it to bang your head to the music and rock on like crazy.
Different kinds of music, different objectives, and in my opinion they are both great in what they try to do. Some, like me and you, prefer listening to classic rock, others may not act the same way. It’s OK if you don’t agree with me, but even if obviously not as much as I love classic rock, I do have some “feelings” for Quiet Riot, mostly thanks to the memories.
You know… Flying around in a Skimmer… Doing crazy stunts over the skies of Vice… And listening to Cum on Feel the Noize in V-Rock…

… Ok, forget that I said first, you’re right: It’s a bloody horrendous song. I just totally LOVE Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and since Cum on is part of the game’s soundtrack, I do have lots of memories (Well, “memories”, some of them current since I still play VC a lot) of listening to that song.
It’s garbage, but given the circumstances, it’s sort of a guilty pleasure that I think it’s an enjoyable garbage. Plus, I’d still rather listen to Quiet Riot than to most synthpop crap in the 80’s.
Anyways, to the question itself: Other bands I like besides Floyd? Rolling Stones, totally love them. The Doors, epic. Beatles, not the most frequent listener, but they are amazing. Led Zeppelin, classic. Deep Purple, mostly thanks to Highway Star. Nirvana, in my honest opinion the best of the 90’s. The Who, also not the most frequent listener, but I still love them, can’t spend a day without listening to Who Won’t Get Fooled Again. Guns ‘N Roses, the ones that brought me back into rock after some long time.
Heck… I like a bunch of different bands. I don’t think I could list them all here. May I warn you though, I’m far from knowing any of those as good as I know Floyd.
So yeah, that’s it, mate!

How I feel when going to school.

in-your-fucking-mind perguntou: tell me about you :)
Well, I’m going to tell you something: We both know each other in real life. I mean, we haven’t spoken in a long time, 2-3 years or so, but I am part of your family.
Take a guess! :)

marceljj perguntou: Soooo, you like Pink Floyd? With the The Wall hammers and the Dark Side of the Moon? Pink Floyd is my favorite band, methinks.
What? Me? Liking Pink Floyd? Hah! What such a stupid idea! What makes you think such nonsense?

Yep. It’s my favorite band, too.
… I know, it’s awkward and I’m most likely the only idiot who passes through this.

Close-up comments - For now - On the anon case: I sent her the post, she though it was absurdly cute, has forgiven me and added me as a friend. Now I just need the courage to pursue a conversation with her…
Also, thanks for the 13 notes (Shares, favorites, etc) in the Fallout post. I know, most bigger “Tumblrers” would laugh at that, but it’s good to know I’m going somewhere and that someone out there cares for what I write.
